"WP 8 - Flexible Response Network" aims at gaining an in-depth analysis of current management tools and practices. It will analyze and compare current transnational, national and regional administrative structures and hierarchies, the underlying framework conditions and current reaction options and measures in the field of risk management and risk prevention.
The PP will identificate well proven, effective and innovative structures, methods and measures for risk management/prevention.
A transnational flexible response network involving administration and experts for future cooperation and implementation will be established. By the end of WP 8, the partners will have drawn an overview of the different kind of organization and technical backgrounds of the regional warning and measuring systems.
A SWOT analysis making the need of transnational coordination visible will be made. Finally, the Partners will have designed and tested a transnational Alpine flexible response network based on best-practice solutions of the Alpine states linked to the respective administrative level.
The first results of the description and comparison of current (trans-)national and regional administrative structures and hierarchies, the underlying framework conditions and the identified good-practice examples are compiled in the PLANALP-DB. This database gives an overview about the different kind of organizations or administrative structures responsible for risk management.
