"WP 7 - Impacts of Climate Change on Spatial Development and Economy" will analayze the interrelation of climate change on spatial development and economic key sectors.
An impact analysis will be elaborated and it will be drafted a definition of the most relevant fields of activities. Overall and local/regional adaptation strategies supporting the spatial change management will be developed.
The PP aim at implementing measures fo supporting sustainable spatial development in model regions.
Finally, a synthesis based on the model region experiences will be elaborated and recommendations for the Alpine regions will be drafted. The partners expect to gain a clear overview of climate change effects on spatial development and economy in the Alps.
They aim at drawing potential development of spatial development and draft economic sectors in the selected model regions under the influence of the expected climate change.
The PP will prepare assessment studies of currently applied adaptation measures / best practice examples and draw recommendations of sustainable adaptation strategies
